As part of the observance of World Diabetic Day, I year M.Sc. nursing students (03 Nos) from Community Health Nursing Speciality, Bishop Benziger College of Nursing conducted a health awareness class about Diabetic Mellitus. The main points included in the class were Diabetic day theme 2019, life style modifications for prevention of diabetes mellitus, diets for diabetic patients and the importance of celebrating world diabetic day in society. Students also organized a NCD clinic on 14.11.2019 in Bishop Benziger Community Health Centre, Eravipuram The main activities included in the NCD clinics were checking the blood glucose level by using glucometer, calculate the BMI and monitoring the blood pressure. All procedures were done with free of cost. Total clients participated in this programme were 23.
