To sensitize on breast feeding issues in community, an awareness programme was organized by Department of Community Health Nursing and IV year B.Sc nursing students from Bishop Benziger College of nursing on 02/08/2019 from 11 am to 12 pm at Velicham Nagar in Pallithottam area. The IV year B.Sc nursing students conducted a puppet show regarding world breast feeding week theme – 2019 “Empower parents, enable breast feeding :Now and for the future.”This was followed by a health education class regarding importance of breast feeding .The total beneficiaries through the community awareness programme was 15.
