The community health nursing department from Bishop Benziger College of nursing ,Kollam conducted a practical session class for candidates who are registered in Swashrya programme from 2pm- 4pm on 03.06.2019 at QSSS Hall ,Kollam. The occasion was honoured by the presence of Very Rev. Msgr. Ferdinand Peter, Director, Community Radio Benziger, Fr.Alphonse. S, Executive Director, QSSS and Fr. Joe Antony Alex, Assist. Director, QSSS. The main health topics discussed and demonstrated in the practical session are vital signs (Temperature,Pulse ,Respiration and Blood pressure) and calculation of BMI. Mrs. Sheeja. S, HOD, Community Health Nursing Department and Mrs. Jyothilakshmi.J, Nursing Tutor were taken class in the practical session. Total 63 number of participants attended and re- demonstrated the procedure in QSSS Hall. Identified the effectiveness of this programme through feedback system.
