Health awareness rally related to breast feeding week -2017 started from Community Health Centre, Pallithottam was flagged off by Prof.Anoopa K.R, Principal, Bishop Benziger College of Nursing. Rally covered the coastal regions of Kollam and ended at Community Health Centre, Pallithottam. At the finishing point, there was an inaugural function of the program and the gathering was welcomed by Mrs.Soly, Tutor, and Department of Child Health Nursing. The event was presided by Mrs. Sheeja.S, HOD, Department of Community Health Nursing. Inaugural address was given by Dr.Asha, Medical Officer, Community Health Centre, Pallithottam. The Theme, “sustaining breastfeeding together”was opened by Mrs.Shalima, HOD, epartment of Child Health Nursing. Vote of thanks was given by Mrs.Jyothi lakshmi, Tutor, Department of Community Health Nursing, 15 mothers participated in the program

Puppet show was performed by III Year B.Sc nursing students about the importance of breast feeding. 15 mothers participated in the puppet show.
