Theme: Educate, Vaccinate, Eradicate
Health education was provided in Don Bosco nagar under Pallithottam health centre by II B.Sc.Nursing students under supervision of Mrs.Mekha.K.Gopinath, Tutor, Community Health Nursing department on World Rabies day.
Health education covered signs and symptoms, pathophysiology, prevention,prophylaxis, first aid and identification of rabid dogs.The villagers were keen to hear to the topic being discussed and involved in the discussion by asking their queries on dog bite. There were 29 participants from Don Bosco Nagar who attended the health education.
