Theme: Close the immunisation gap
This is the second year of the close the immunisation gap campaign, which celebrates the enormous successes to date in reaching children all over the world with life saving vaccines while also stressing the challenges we still face. Health education was provided in anganwadi in Pallithottam health centre area by III B.Sc.Nursing students under supervision of Mrs.Mekha.K.Gopinath, Tutor, Community Health Nursing department on immunisation day regarding the need for immunisation and the immunization schedule to be followed to the mothers in the area.
The mothers actively participated in the discussion, raised queries regarding immunisation. There were 14 participants who attended the health education.
