Bishop Stanley Roman was ordained as a priest at St. Peter’s Basilica, Rome on 16th December 1966. He served as the Prefect of St. Raphael’s seminary, Kollam for many years. He secured M.A Degree in English language and Literature from University of Kerala. Later he joined Fatima Mata National College, Kollam as lecturer in English as well as college Bursar. He retired from the college after his laudable performance as Principal of the college. Subsequently he was appointed as the first Rector of Carmel Giri Major Seminary, Aluva of the Latin rite. He was nominated as the Bishop of Quilon on 16th Dec 2001.Bishop Stanley Roman took the initiative to establish the College of Nursing in 2004. Thus His Lordship is the founder patron of Bishop Benziger College of Nursing.
Bishop Paul Antony Mullassery, a native of Kaithakody, Kundara, Kollam, was born on 15th January 1960. He was ordained on 22nd December 1984. He obtained his Post Graduate Degree and Doctoral Degree (DCL) in Canon Law from Pontifical Urban University, Rome. He became the Bishop of Quilon on 16th December 2001. Since then, Bishop Paul Antony Mullassery is the Patron of this College.
