As a part of POSHAN ABHIYAN, Community health nursing department of Bishop Benziger College of Nursing in association with Community Radio Benziger conducted ORS home preparation demonstration at Anganwadi, Pallithottam. Ms. Athira of II Year M.Sc demonstrated it to the mothers of under five children. 10 mothers participated.

As a part of POSHAN ABHIYAN, Mrs.Sheeja S, HOD, Community health nursing department of Bishop Benziger College of Nursing in association with Community Radio Benziger conducted a radio interview with Dr.Roy Manuel, Paediatrician, Govt. Taluk Hospital, Kottarakkara on the topic Diarrhoeal disease prevention and management.

As a part of POSHAN ABHIYAN, Mrs. Angel Mary J N, Clinical Instructor, Community health nursing department of Bishop Benziger College of Nursing in association with Community Radio Benziger conducted a radio interview with Sr.Omanaamma, lady health supervisor of CHC, Pallithottam on the topic vaccination and vitamin A prophylaxis.

As a part of Kerala flood relief activity, Mrs.Feby Fulgen, Asst.Proffessor, Community Health Nursing Dpt from Bishop Benziger College of Nursing volunteered  cleaning activity on 31.08.2018 at flood hit areas of Alappuzha district.

As a part of celebrating 70th founders day anniversary, the IV Year B.Sc Nursing students and II Year M.Sc students from Bishop Benziger College of Nursing conducted free medical check-up; medical exhibition and puppet show on 16.08.2018 at Bishop Benziger Hospital.

As a part of World Breast feeding week celebration, the III Year  and IV Year B.Sc Nursing students from Bishop Benziger College of Nursing conducted rally and role play at CHC, Pallithottam.

As a part of World Yoga Day celebration, II Year B.Sc  Nursing students conducted Yoga demonstration at Govt.LPS, Thrikkadavoor. Mrs. Feby Fulgen, Asst.Proffessor, Community department also demonstrated Yoga to the students and teachers of  Govt.LPS, Thrikkadavoor.

As a part of World Blood Donor Day celebration, II Year B.Sc  Nursing students and II Year M.Sc  Nursing student  conducted a flash mob regarding safe blood donation and its importance at CHC, Palathara.

As a part of World day against child labour celebration, II Year B.Sc  Nursing students performed mime show regarding child labour and its consequences and also gave an awareness regarding good touch and bad touch to students at Infant Jesus LPS, Pallithottam .

As a part of World Population Day celebration, the II Year B.Sc Nursing students and II Year M.Sc Nursing student from Bishop Benziger College of Nursing conducted flash mob and AV aid exhibition at CHC, Palathara.
